Kansas City Steak Strips
- 2 sirloin strip steaks
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 c. thinly sliced green onions (tops included)
- 1/2 c. beef broth
- 1/2 c. chili sauce
- dash of salt
- dash of black pepper
- 1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen green beans
- Cut meat into even strips.
- Heat 1/2 the butter in a skillet. Add meat; saute over medium high heat until meat is brown and cooked to your liking.
- Do not overcook.
- Remove meat; keep warm. Add remaining butter to pan.
- Add green onions; saute over medium high heat for 4 to 5 minutes, until onions are soft but not brown. Remove.
- Add broth to pan; heat and scrape pan brownings.
- Add chili sauce.
- Add green beans to pan; heat for a few minutes.
- Add meat and green onions; stir to blend well.
- Cook over high heat for a few minutes, until mixture is hot.
- Add salt and pepper, if desired.
- Serve immediately.
