Snowballs

  1. 1. Cream butter and 3 tbsp. confectioners sugar until fluffy.
  2. 2. Stir in flour gradually
  3. 3. Add pecans until well blended.
  4. 4 Chill several hours or until firm to handle
  5. 5. Roll dough, teaspoon at a time, into marble-size balls between palms of hands.
  6. 6. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased cookie sheets
  7. 7. Bake in slow oven (325F) for 20 minutes or until lightly golden.
  8. 8. Cool on cookie sheets for 5 minutes.
  9. 9. Remove carefully and roll in extra confectioners sugar while still warm to make a generous white coating.
  10. 10. Cool completely on wire racks.
  11. 11. Store with waxed paper between layers in container with tight-fitting lid.
