Country Chicken On A Biscuit
- 2 c. water
- 6 chicken bouillon cubes or 2 tsp. instant bouillon
- 10 oz. Green Giant mixed vegetables in butter sauce *
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. cubed cooked chicken
- 1/4 tsp. marjoram leaves
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- dash of onion salt
- dash of celery salt
- dash of turmeric
- In large saucepan, combine 2 cups water and bouillon; heat until bouillon dissolves.
- Remove frozen vegetables from pouch and add to broth; heat until thawed.
- Combine flour with 1/2 cup water; stir until smooth.
- Add to broth-vegetable mix.
- Heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and smooth.
- Add remaining ingredients; heat through.
- Serve over hot baking powder biscuits. Serves 4.
