Japanese Fruit Cake

  1. Cream butter and 2 cups sugar.
  2. Beat egg yolks and add to creamed mixture.
  3. Sift 3 cups flour with baking powder and spices; add alternately with milk.
  4. Add coconut, pecans and raisins which have been rolled in flour.
  5. Beat egg whites and add.
  6. Bake in moderate 350u0b0 oven about 30 minutes or until done.
  7. Make 4 layers. Cool cake.
