Soybean Hamburger Casserole
- 2 tsp. cooking oil
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 1/4 to 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 2 1/2 c. cooked soybeans
- 1 1/2 c. tomato soup
- tomato sauce or stewed tomatoes
- 1 beef bouillon cube, dissolved in 1 c. hot water
- 2 c. cooked rice
- Brown
- meat,
- celery,
- onion
- and
- green pepper in oil. When meat
- is
- brown
- stir
- in
- salt,
- pepper,
- seasoned salt, soybeans,
- tomato
- soup, tomato sauce, bouillon cube and rice. Serves 6.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0. Saute in
- large heavy skillet.
- Heat and simmer a few minutes. Place in
- greased
- casserole and bake 45 minutes.
- Remove from oven and
- top
- with
- 1/2
- cup
- grated cheese or cheese slices. Return to oven a few minutes until cheese has melted.
