Riley'S Favorite Cranberry Sauce

  1. Put 1 2/3 bag cranberries in saucepan with orange juice, cinnamon sticks, vanilla extract, sugar. Mix and cook until popping noise starts and the cranberries start to break down and become saucy. Stir in vanilla beans (discard pods), pinch of salt, mace, cardamom, and ground cinnamon. Cook apprx. 5 minutes more. Add the reserved 1/3 bag of cranberries and cook about 5 minutes more. Since I don't really measure, I would taste and adjust as you go along.
