Sambucca Soaked Shrimp

  1. Peel and devaine the shrimp leaving the tail on
  2. Wrap a piece about 3 inches long of bacon or prosicutto around the shrimp.
  3. Thred through wooden skewers that have been soaked in Water for 1/2 hour prior
  4. Face tails in same direction You can fit at least 4 Shrimp on each skewer.
  5. Salt and pepper
  6. Place in a glass baking pan and pour Sambucca over the shrimp
  7. Bush the liquid on the shrimp to evenly coat
  8. Marinate for up to 1/2 hour
  9. When ready to serve, Place on a hot grate . Cook for 1 to 2 minutes on each side. They will have a lovely carmelized look them . Use a pair on yongs to turn and handel.
  10. serve them hot on the skewer. No need for any sauce to accompany
