Italian Spaghetti Meat Sauce
- 1 diced onion
- 1/3 c. diced bell pepper
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt (or 2 pods)
- 1 lb. hamburger meat
- savory salt (sprinkle freely)
- speck Italian spice (about 1/4 tsp.)
- 2 small cans tomato sauce
- 3 to 4 cans water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 c. olives (optional)
- 1/3 (1 lb.) pkg. spaghetti
- favorite cheese (optional)
- Combine onion, bell pepper, chili powder, garlic salt, hamburger meat, savory salt and Italian spice.
- Cook at high temperature while mashing the meat and ingredients with a fork. When hamburger is cooked through, then add tomato sauce, water, vinegar, salt and pepper and olives.
- Cook at high temperature for 10 minutes, then over medium-low flame for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Stir occasionally.
- Cook spaghetti for approximately 20 or 25 minutes or until tender.
- Drain water off and cover the spaghetti with meat sauce in a large platter.
- Sprinkle generously with your favorite cheese (optional).
