Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

  1. *If you are using a frozen pie crust or are making it yourself, make this while you make the filling*
  2. 1.) Mix sugar, cocoa powder, flour, milk, and tapioca over medium heat in a medium size saucepan. Whisk constantly until it feels slightly thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. 2.) Add the egg yolk, chocolate, butter, and vanilla and whisk for about 5 minutes. If the mixture is not yet thickened, add the corn starch.
  4. 3.) Remove from heat. Add the peanut butter and powdered sugar.
  5. 4.) Let chocolate mixture cool. Take out cool whip and let thaw so it will easily spread.
  6. 5.) Pour cooled chocolate mixture into the bottom of the pie crust. Top with a layer of cool whip.
  7. 6.) Garnish with lines of chocolate sauce.
  8. 7.) Store in fridge until ready to serve.
