Big Fatties
- 2 cups All purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted, melted and cooled butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 brown egg
- 1 brown egg yolk
- 1 tbs good vanilla
- 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper
- First, sift the flour, salt and baking soda together in a separate bowl.
- Second, cream the melted cooled butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until they are well blended.
- Then beat in the vanilla, egg and egg yolk separately until each are well incorporated.
- After well blended add the sifted ingredient slowly.
- Stir in the chocolate chips last.
- These are "BIG" cookies so you will want to put 1/4 of a cup of the mix for each cookie on the lined cookie sheet. The cookies should be roughly 3 inches apart.
- Bake for 15-17 minutes or until golden.
