Blueberry Buckle

  1. Mix
  2. 3/4
  3. cups
  4. sugar,
  5. shortening, eggs and milk until well blended.
  6. Stir
  7. in 1 1/2 cups flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and
  8. cloves; fold in berries.
  9. Spread batter in greased 9-inch square
  10. pan.
  11. Combine
  12. remaining
  13. ingredients
  14. and mix until crumbly.
  15. Sprinkle
  16. crumbs
  17. over
  18. batter.
  19. Bake at 375u0b0 about 45 minutes
  20. or until cake top springs back when lightly touched. Serve warm, cut into squares, with a lemon sauce.
