Roll Tide Hoagies

  1. Before you leave home for your tailgate party:
  2. 1. Dice Red Tomatoes, Green Tomato, Bell Peppers and Onions and place them in a plastic zipper bag.
  3. 2. Remove sausage from package and slice from top to bottom to remove sausage casings. Heat non-stick skillet on medium-high heat and brown sausage to crumble. Let cool for 5 minutes then package sausage in large zipper bag.
  4. 2. Mix Garlic powder, Basil, Salt and Pepper together and put in plastic zipper bag.
  5. Upon arrival to the tailgate:
  6. 1. Heat grill to High Heat.
  7. 2. Create "pouches" with aluminum foil and divide pre-packaged ingredients evenly amongst the six pouches.
  8. 3. Place each pouch on grill for 8 minutes and remove to cool for 5 minutes.
  9. 4. Open pouches and place contents inside whole wheat hoagie bun.
  10. 5. SERVE AND ENJOY THE GAME!!!
