Henry'S Favorite Chicken Or Turkey Pot Pie
- 2 c. chopped, cooked, turkey or chicken
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole, new potatoes, drained
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, mixed peas and carrots
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
- 1/2 c. milk (or more if you want juicier mixture)
- 1 Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust (in red square box)
- 1/2 lb. boiled, link sausage, cooled and cut in thin rounds (optional)
- Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
- Cut turkey or chicken and potatoes into 1-inch chunks.
- In a 10-inch skillet, over medium heat, heat turkey, potatoes, onion, (sausage), frozen mixed vegetables, undiluted cream of chicken soup and milk to boiling.
- Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 5 minutes, gently stirring occasionally.
