Dad'S Spicy Pork Recipe (Grilled Or Crock Pot)
- 7 lbs. Center cut pork loin
- 1/3 bottle of vinegar ( 1 1/4 cups )
- 5 tablespoons of salt
- 4 tablespoons of crushed red pepper
- 1 oz. of black pepper ( 2 tablespoons )
- 5 medium onions - cut up
- 3/4 bottle of barbeque sauce
- 2-3 sticks of butter
- 1/4 bottle of Tabasco sauce (optional)
- Potatoes and corn for 10 (to be added after the pork is cooked)
- Quarter the pork loin so that it fits easily into the pot and fill with water so the meat is covered.
- Add all ingredients except potatoes and corn, bring to a boil, and simmer 3-4 hours until tender.
- Remove pork from the pot and put on a greased cookie sheet, baste with the remaining barbeque sauce, cover and grill for 45 minutes. (Medium coals - not too hot)
- Add another 1-2 sticks of butter to the pot, add cut up potatoes and cook for 45 minutes.
- Add 1/2 ears of corn to the pot to cook for 30 minutes.
