Pecan-Basil Cheese Ball
- 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese (about 8 oz.)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 cup loosely packed, roughly chopped basil leaves
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1 1/4 cups chopped toasted pecans
- 1 Bag Stacy's(R) Fire Roasted Jalapeno Pita Chips
- In the bowl of a food processor, pulse cheddar cheese, cream cheese, basil, honey, salt and pepper in a food processor until smooth. Place cheese mixture on a large piece of plastic wrap and use plastic wrap to shape into a ball; chill until firm, at least 2 hours.
- Unwrap and roll cheese ball in pecans and let sit at room temperature 20 minutes before serving. Serve with Stacy's(R) Fire Roasted Jalapeno Pita Chips.
