Pansit(Philippine Rice Noodle)
- 2 Tbsp. canola oil
- 3 to 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 2 c. chicken cubes, shrimp or pork
- 1 c. julienned carrots
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 1 c. or 1 small pkg. snow peas
- 1 to 2 c. julienned Chinese cabbage
- 1/4 c. chopped cilantro
- 1 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. oyster flavored sauce
- salt and white pepper to taste
- 1 pkg. rice noodles, soaked in water to soften and drained
- Saute garlic and onion in oil.
- Add chicken or preferred meat. Add soy sauce and oyster sauce, then vegies until crispy cooked (carrots, celery, cabbage, cilantro, snow peas).
- Add rice noodles; mix and cook for 5 minutes or until done.
- If juice is not enough to cook noodles, may add broth or water.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
