Cappuccino Brownies
- Brownie:
- 8 oz. Bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 Tbs. Espresso dissolved in hot water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- Cream Cheese:
- 8 oz. Cream cheese
- 3/4 stick unsalted butter
- 11/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Glaze:
- 6 oz. Bittersweet chocolate
- 2 Tbs. Butter
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 1/2 Tbs. instant espresso dissolved in 1 Tbs. hot water
- Bake brownies 22 minutes at 350. Cool completely. Beat cream cheese mixture until fluffy, cool one hour. Mix glaze, cool to room temperature. Spread cream cheese over brownies. Pour glaze over both. Cool until cold, serve cold.
