Peach Kuchen
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 12 peach halves
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- With a pastry blender, cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse cornmeal.
- Press the flour mixture over the bottom and up the sides of a buttered 10 inch round pan.
- Places the peaches, cut side up, over the pastry.
- Combine the brown sugar sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over peach halves.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Mix the egg yolks and cream.
- Pour over the peaches and continue to bake for 30 minutes or until brown.

- 45 minutes.
- Serve warm or cool.
