Clean Banana Waffles
- 2/3 cup Unsalted raw almonds
- 1/4 cup Coconut flour
- 2 teaspoons Baking powder
- 1 tablespoon Bicarbonate of soda
- 1/2 tablespoon Sea salt
- 2 pieces Eggs
- 1 piece Egg white
- 2 cups Unsweetened almond milk
- 2 teaspoons Fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Coconut oil
- 1 piece Ripe banana
- 1/3 cup Unsweetened coconut flakes
- 90 grams Chopped dark chocolate (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 170 u0b0 C.
- Heat the almonds in the oven for about 8 minutes. Then cool. Reduce the oven to 150 u0b0 C.
- Finally grind the almonds and then mix it with the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and chocolate chips in a large bowl together.
- In a medium bowl, mix eggs, egg white, almond milk, coconut oil and lime juice. Add the liquid ingredients in the large bowl and add the mashed banana and coconut flakes. Mix everything well until the smooth dough is formed.
- Grease the waffle iron with a little coconut oil and bake the dough 3-4 minutes, until they are golden brown.
- Garnish with banana slices and serve with agave syrup or sugar-free maple syrup if necessary.
