Hershey Bar Cake
- 6 regular Hershey Bars
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 1/2 cups flous
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup chocolate syrup
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- Frosting:
- 1 small can evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 6 regular Hershey bars
- 1/4 stick butter
- Melt chocolate for cake. Cream butter with sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each. Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk and add to sugar mixture alternately with flour and salt. Add chocolate syrup, vanilla, melted chocolate and pecans. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees about 1 1/2 hours until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool and remove from pan.
- For frosting: Combine milk and sugar in saucepan and boil for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in Hershey Bars and butter until well combined. Place pan in ice bath and beat until cool and thick enough to spread. Frost cake including hole in center.l
