Cheese Steak(Use Wok Or Skillet)
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco
- 3 c. chuck steak, cut in strips
- 1 Tbsp. fajitas seasoning
- 2 c. onions, sliced
- 1 large bell pepper, cut in strips
- 1 large can sliced mushrooms
- 1 large ripe tomato, cut in wedges
- 4 c. frozen broccoli, cut up
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb. box Velveeta mild Mexican cheese
- 1/4 c. milk
- 8 broiler-fryer chicken thighs
- 1/4 c. cooking oil
- 2 large sliced tomatoes
- 2 large sliced onions
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 4 minced cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground mace
- 2 bay leaves
- In large frypan, place oil, and heat to medium temperature. Add tomatoes and onion
- and
- cook
- about
- 5
- minutes or until wilted.
- Add chicken, stirring several times.
- Add milk, garlic, brown sugar, lemon juice,
- red
- pepper, salt, mace and bay leaves.
- Bring to a
- boil.
- Cover
- and
- simmer,
- stirring frequently, for 50 minutes.
- Remove
- cover
- and
- cook about 10 more minutes over high heat,
- evaporating
- most
- of the liquid and until fork can be
- inserted in chicken with ease.
- Discard bay leaves before serving.
- Makes 4 servings.
