Macaroni And Cheese
- 1/2 box dried pasta
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 scallions
- 12 sliced mushrooms
- 1 shallot
- 1 1/2 c. cream
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. grated Fontina
- 1/4 c. grated gouda
- 1/2 c. grated mozzarella
- 1/2 c. grated cheddar
- Black pepper
- Dry mustard
- Paprika
- Thyme
- Cayenne
- Nutmeg
- Fresh bread crumbs
- Parmesan
- Basil
- 1 package heated and drained frozen broccoli
- Cook pasta until al dente.
- Melt butter in large pot.
- Add onion, scallion, mushrooms, and shallot and cook 10 mins.
- Add cream and flour and boil 5 mins.
- Reduce heat to low. Stir in pasta, cheese, and pepper, mustard, paprika, thyme, cayenne, and nutmeg to taste. Pour into a casserole dish.
- Top with bread crumbs and parmesan and bake for 1/2 hour at 350 degrees.
- Sprinkle with basil. Stir in broccoli to taste after serving.
