Simple Dinner
- 2 - boneless skinned chicken breast
- 1 tsp Garlic Power
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tbsp Olive il
- 1 box Chicken Flavor Rice A Roni
- 1 - red pepper chopped fine
- 1- cup broccoli florets
- 1 small can cream of celery soup
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 2 cups of grated cheese (your choice)
- cut up chicken into bite size pieces and put into a stick free pan with the olive oil and the chopped red pepper. Season with the Garlic, paprika, salt and pepper to taste. Brown on both sides then simmer on low until cooked (about 15 minutes) then drain all juices from pan and put the chicken and peppers into a large bowl. Save the juices. Using the same pan - now make the rice-a-roni as the package directs except do not cook for the full 15 to 20 minutes cook only for 10 minutes. Then add the rice to the bowl of chicken. Then put the saved juice from the pan and put it back in the pan along with the broccoli (chopped to small pieces)and toss the broccoli lightly and simmer for about 5 minutes. Then add to the bowl of chicken and rice - stir all together. take the can of soup and put in a bowl and mix with the milk add to the chicken and rice and stir until mixed well, put into an 8" or 9" square pan and top with the cheese. Bake in a 350 oven for 25 minutes then allow to sit for about 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
