Pretty As A Picture Quinoa Salad
- salad:
- 2 c. precooked quinoa
- 3 T raw sunflower seeds
- 1/4 c chopped raw cashews
- 12-15 sliced raw almonds
- 1/2 c cooked green peas
- 10-15 sliced olives
- 4-5 finely chopped broccoli heads
- 1/2 stalk finely chopped celery
- 1/2 c finely chopped purple onion
- 1/2 c carrot pulp or shredded carrot
- 3 T diced pimiento
- 1/2 c finely chopped tomato
- Dressing:
- 2 T olive oil
- 3 T Flavored vinegar
- 1 T Bragg's
- 1-2 packets stevia
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1 T oregano
- 1 T parsley
- 1 T sage
- May add/subtract to ingredient list. Salad can stand alone as a main dish. It's best if it sits for a couple of hours, but the tomatoes may get mushy so add them at the last minute.
