Pizza Twists
- 1 (11 oz.) can Pillsbury soft breadsticks
- 1 pkg. thin sliced pepperoni
- grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 c. or more pizza sauce
- Separate and unroll breadsticks.
- Place 3 or more slices of pepperoni in a single layer over 1/2 of each breadstick.
- Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons sauce over the pepperoni.
- Sprinkle a little cheese over the sauce.
- Fold remaining half of breadstick over the top, sealing the ends.
- Twist the breadstick into a figure eight. Mix 2 tablespoons cheese with Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Sprinkle over each stick.
- Bake in preheated 350u0b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Serve with heated pizza sauce.
- For a crunchy crust, lightly sprinkle bottoms with cornmeal.
- Makes 8.
- Very good for school lunches.
