Herbed Roquefort Biscuits

  1. Combine the first 4 ingredients in a small bowl; set aside. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl.
  2. Cut in cheese mixture and butter with a pastry blender. Turn dough out onto a floured surface; knead lightly 7 to 8 times. Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness; cut with a 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter.
  3. Place biscuits on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  4. Bake at 450u0b0 for 13 to 15 minutes.
  5. Yields 14 biscuits.
