Texas White Chili

  1. Saute onions and garlic in oil and add cumin, oregano, coriander, cloves, and cayenne.
  2. Let cook together until onions are clear.
  3. Cook over medium heat so your garlic doesn't burn. Add beans, broth and salt.
  4. Let come to a simmer.
  5. Smash half beans.
  6. Add cooked shredded chicken and green chilies.
  7. Stir together and let simmer 20 minutes.
  8. Spoon into bowls and top with shredded cheese and sliced green onions.
  9. Serve with jalapeno or cheese corn bread.
