Creme De Menthe Brownies

  1. Brownies:
  2. Cream together 1/2 cup butter and granulated sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Combine dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to sugar mixture, alternating with the chocolate syrup. Stir in the vanilla. Pour into a greased cake pan 8x8x2. Bake at 350 F for 20-25 minutes.
  3. Creme de Menthe Layer
  4. Cream together 1/4cup butter gradually adding 2 cups powered sugar and creme de menthe. Spread icing over warm brownies. Chill for at least 1 hour.
  5. Chocolate icing
  6. Combine chips with 1/4 cup butter and melt together. Spread chocolate over cold iced brownie. Re chill until serving time. Cut into squares.
