Crab Rangoons
- 1 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 - 8 oz imitation crabmeat (finely shredded or depending on your preference, you can even puree the crabmeat in a food processor)
- 2 tbl finely chopped onion - or - (about) 2 green scallions
- 3 tsp mayo
- 2 tsp powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 package of wonton wrappers
- vegetable oil for frying (I use Wesson)
- In bowl, mix all ingredients. Use wonton wrappers and place about 1/2 tsp in each. Brush corners with egg and close into a triangle.
- Cook in a low heat oil, turning once. These cook extremely fast. Drain on paper towel or paper plate/bag.
