Cookie Sheet Apple Pie
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. lard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 egg yolks
- milk
- 4 Tbsp. tapioca
- 3 lb. sliced apples
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. tapioca (this is not a duplicate, you need it)
- 2 Tbsp. flour (level Tbsp.)
- cinnamon
- butter or margarine
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 c. sugar
- Mix flour, lard and salt.
- Mix like a pie crust.
- Put egg yolks in a measuring cup.
- Add enough milk to make 3/4 cup.
- Add to flour mixture to make a soft dough.
- Divide dough into 2 parts. Spray cookie sheet with Pam.
- Roll one part and fit in the bottom of cookie sheet.
- Put dough on all sides.
- Sprinkle 4 tablespoons tapioca on top of the dough.
- Add the sliced apples on top of the dough.
