Heavenly 24 Hour Salad
- 2 eggs
- 2 T sugar
- 2 T vinegar
- 1 T butter
- 2 c sour cream
- salt to taste
- 1 c seedless grapes
- 1 c sliced bananas
- 1 c fresh diced pineapple
- 1 c pitted Bing cherries
- 1 c dried oranges (or mandarin)
- 1 c melon balls
- 2 sliced plums
- 2 c miniature marshmallows
- fruit pieces and mint springs for garnish
- 1. In a small saucepan, mix eggs with sugar, OJ & vinegar. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
- 2. Remove from heat. Stir in butter; cool. Fold in sour cream. Chill while preparing fruit.
- 3. Combine fruits & marshmallows. Fold in dressing and carefully spoon into serving bowl.
- 4. Chill 24 hours
- 5. Garnish with fruit and mint sprigs.
