Paczki (Pronounced Punck-Key)

  1. Beat egg
  2. yolks, well.tdd sugar, melt together, stick of butter andtilk until warm.
  3. Dissolve yeast in warm water; add this mixture to
  4. yolks and sugar.
  5. Add salt, lemon rind or vanilla, gradually; add
  6. some
  7. of the flour; add 3 tablespoons melted butter and rest of the flour.
  8. Beat well until dough no longer clings to
  9. spoon.
  10. Set
  11. aside.
  12. Lettise
  13. for
  14. about 2 hours.
  15. Take small piece
  16. of
  17. dough
  18. and flatten it out in the palm of your hand.tut
  19. about a teaspoonful of jam in center, fold edges of dough
  20. to
  21. form
  22. a
  23. ball.
  24. Fry ball in deep fat, heated to 350u0b0
  25. for about 5 minutes.
  26. When done, sprinkle with 10x sugar or frost
  27. with
  28. an
  29. icing
  30. of
  31. 10x
  32. sugar and butter combined.
