5 Spice Chicken

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350. Place sliced onions in bottom of baking dish. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper and place in baking dish on top of sliced onions. Set aside.
  2. 2. Simmer in small saucepan rest of ingredients for 10 minutes on high heat.
  3. 3. Strain and pour sauce over chicken. Cover and bake for 1 hour.
  4. 5. Remove from oven and place chicken and onions on platter. Pour sauce back into saucepan, bring to a boil on high heat and boil for about 10 minutes to reduce. This will thicken and intensify flavor. Pour over chicken.
  5. Optional: Serve with Sesame Snow Peas
