Homemade Dog Biscuits

  1. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water (110u0b0 to 115u0b0). Stir in broth and molasses.
  2. Add 1 cup of the all-purpose flour, the whole wheat flour, cracked wheat, cornmeal, dry milk, garlic and 2 teaspoons of salt.
  3. Mix well.
  4. On floured surface, knead in remaining flour.
  5. Roll out, half at a time, to 3/8-inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes.
  6. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Brush tops with mixture of egg and milk.
  7. Repeat with remaining dough.
  8. Bake in a 300u0b0 oven for 45 minutes. Turn oven off.
  9. Let dry overnight in oven.
  10. Makes 42 to 48.
