Sticky Sweet Asian Chicken Wings
- Marinade:
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh minced ginger
- 1 tbsp fresh minced garlic
- 1 tbsp Asian chili paste
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- separated at joint
- Glaze:
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 1/2 tsp hoisin sauce
- Garnish:
- Toasted sesame seeds
- chopped green onion
- Stir together marinade ingredients and marinate chicken wings for 30 minutes.
- Grill chicken over medium heat, turning often until golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes. Using a pastry brush, generously glaze wings and continue to grill, turning as glaze starts to caramelize, about 5 minutes more (be careful not to burn glaze).
- Transfer to serving platter. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and 1 chopped green onion.
