Marge'S Cabbage Rolls

  1. Remove center from head of cabbage.
  2. Place cabbage head in large pan and cover with water.
  3. Add vinegar.
  4. Cook until leaves become soft and can be removed.
  5. Line roaster pan bottom with some of the cooked cabbage leaves.
  6. Mix hamburger, sausage, rice and seasonings together.
  7. Place mixture on individual leaves and roll. Wrap with bacon slice and secure with a toothpick.
  8. Place in roaster.
  9. Dissolve 4 beef bouillon cubes in juice from cooked cabbage and pour over rolls.
  10. Bake at 350u0b0 for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, uncovered.
