Kansas Bbq Portobello Burgers
- 1 RawSpiceBar's Kansas Dry Rub
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 portobello mushrooms
- 1 shallot, minced
- 2 shallot, minced
- 1 tbsp salt, to taste
- 1/3 cup BBQ sauce
- 1. In a small bowl, combine vegetable oil, salt, shallot, garlic and RawSpiceBar's Kansas Dry Rub. Generously brush mixture onto both sides of the portobello mushrooms. Set mushrooms aside in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours, until ready to grill. 2. Preheat the outdoor grill or grill pan to high. Brush mushrooms with BBQ sauce. Grill mushrooms for about 5 minutes per side, brushing with additional BBQ sauce in between, or until well-marked by the grill grates. 3. Top with roasted onion, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, cheese or toppings of choice on a toasted bun and enjoy!
