Old-Fashioned Oatmeal Cookies
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. liquid Butter Buds
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. flour
- 1 c. raisins, boiled
- 1 Tbsp. raisin water
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 Egg Beaters
- 1 c. quick oatmeal
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 c. Grape-Nuts cereal
- Cover raisins with water and boil until they are puffed up. Cream together the sugars and Butter Buds.
- Add Egg Beaters, oatmeal, flour, raisins and soda, mixed with the raisin water. Next, add vanilla, spices and Grape-Nuts.
- Chill dough 30 minutes. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet sprayed with nonfat cooking spray.
- Bake 17 to 20 minutes at 325u0b0.
- Yields 6 dozen cookies.
