Spicy Beef Tagliatelle In Tomato Sauce
- 1 lb tagliatelle noodles
- 1 lb ground Angus beef
- 4 cloves garlic, cut in thin slivers
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2-3 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley
- 1 12 oz. can whole tomatoes with basil (may use stewed, but whole is juicier)
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 tbsp. red pepper flakes
- extra-virgin olive oil
- salt to taste
- Heat your pan, add 3-4 tbsp. of olive oil. Add a clove of your garlic slivers. Take care not to burn garlic. Add ground beef. Salt & add red pepper flakes to beef (red pepper flakes available at Korean and Middle Eastern stores). Brown beef evenly, adding onion and rest of garlic. When onion is transparent, add tomato sauce & paste. Cut up whole tomatoes and mix well. Add parsley.
