Gluten-Free & Dairy-Free Bread
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1tbsp active dry yeast
- 1 egg
- 1 egg-white
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1 cup warm soy milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp xanthan gum
- 1/2 cup starch
- 2 1/2 cup rice flour
- A smidgen of margarine
- 1. Pour warm water into a cup. Add honey and stir before adding the yeast
- 2. Place all other ingredients into a bowl.
- 3. Pour the warm water mixture into the bowl and stir. The dough should have a sticky consistency. You may have to add 1-2 extra handfuls of rice flour to attain this texture
- 4. Grease the bread pan with margarine and add the dough
- 5. Cover the dough and let rise for 1 hr
- 6. Bake the bread at 350 F for 45 mins
- 7. Let the bread cool in the pan before removing
