Cranberry Relish & Whipped Candied Sweet Potatoes

  1. RELISH: combine all ingred in saucepan & stir well - cook over med heat until berries pop, about 10 mins - skim foam c spoon & discard - cool to rm temp - refrig up to 3 months
  2. SWEET POTATOES: mix syrup ingred in small pot - swirl over lo heat until combined, about 5 mins - place sweet pots in lg pot - cover c cold water - bring to boil - reduce to a simmer & cook until pots are very tender, 15 mins - drain - mash in lg bowl drizzling syrup over - season c salt - serve hot
