Jam Cake With Date Filling And Caramel Frosting

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs, beating well.
  3. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with buttermilk.
  4. Add the jams. Mix fruits and nuts; dredge with flour.
  5. Add to creamed mixture. Pour into 4 greased layer cake pans.
  6. Bake at 350u0b0 for 40 minutes. Spread Date Filling between layers.
  7. Frost with Caramel Frosting.
