Banana Dessert

  1. Fry the bananas in butter or cooking spray.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a heavy saucepan, mix condensed milk, milk, cornstarch and egg yolks.
  4. Bring to a boil, stirring all the time.
  5. Cook over low heat until thick and nonstick to bottom of pan.
  6. Do not stop stirring or mixture may burn.
  7. Let cream cool before using.
  8. In a bowl, beat egg whites at high speed until stiff peaks form.
  9. Add sugar and beat until well blended.
  10. Add light cream and mix well. Pour bananas in bottom of a serving dish.
  11. Cover with egg yolk cream and top with beaten egg whites.
  12. Chill for at least one hour before serving.
  13. Keep refrigerated.
