Chocolate Delight

  1. CHOCOLATE DELIGHT
  2. FIRST LAYER:
  3. 1 c. flour
  4. 1 stick butter, softened
  5. 1/2 c. pecans
  6. SECOND LAYER:
  7. 1 c. confectioners' sugar
  8. 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  9. 1/2 lg. (12 oz. container) Cool Whip
  10. THIRD LAYER:
  11. 2 pkg. (3 1/2 oz.) instant chocolate pudding
  12. 3 c. milk
  13. First layer: combine ingredients until crumbly and pat into 8 x 12 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or microwave on high for 5 minutes. Cool.
  14. Second layer: Mix sugar and cheese until light and fluffy and fold in Cool Whip. Spoon onto crust.
  15. Third Layer: Combine until smooth. Spread over second layer.
  16. Fourth Layer: Spread remaining Cool Whip on top, then sprinkle with pecans. Refrigerate. Serves 8. Christmas Delight: 1 package instant pistachio pudding, 1 package instant vanilla pudding
