Drop Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 400degrees. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a lg. mixing bowl. Using a fork or pastry blender, cut the butter into the mixture. Slowly stir in the milk and mix gently until the dough comes together. Drop the dough onto a baking sheet by spoonfuls to make 12 biscuits. Leave enough space between them to expand. Bake 12 - 15 min. until golden brown.
