Easy Yeast Rolls

  1. Combine yeast and warm milk to soften yeast, about 5 minutes. Combine yeast mixture, 1 cup milk, sugar, oil, salt and egg in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add 1 cup flour, stirring until smooth.
  3. Stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
  4. Place dough in a well greased bowl.
  5. Turn dough to grease top.
  6. Cover and let stand in warm place for 15 minutes (85u0b0).
  7. Punch dough down; cover and let stand another 15 minutes in a warm draft-free place.
  8. Turn dough onto a floured surface; knead 3 or 4 times.
  9. Divide dough into 24 pieces; shape into balls.
  10. Dip into melted butter and place in pans and let rise for about 15 minutes or more, in a warm place.
  11. Bake at 400u0b0 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
