Turkey Chili
- 3 cups turkey stock
- 2 chopped and seeded chiles
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 onion
- 5 cloves garlic
- Red pepper flakes
- Tomato paste
- 2 cans black beans
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup coffee
- Paprika
- Coriander
- Cocoa
- Cinnamon
- Grated cheddar
- Boil turkey stock with chiles. Simmer 10 mins.
- Remove peppers and puree.
- Chop turkey bacon and cook 3 minutes. Add turkey meat and cook 5 minutes.
- Chop onion and garlic. Add to pan and cook 5 minutes.
- Add pepper flakes and tomato paste. Cook 1 min.
- Add broth, pureed peppers, beans, tomatoes, coffee, paprika, coriander, cocoa, and cinnamon.
- Bring to a boil and simmer 15 mins.
- Serve topped with cheese.
