Salisbury Steak
- 1 pound extra lean ground round or chuck
- 3 cups fresh mushroom sliced
- 1/4 cup plain bread crumbs
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 cup skim milk
- 1/4t dried thyme leaves
- 3T low carb ketchup
- 1 jar (12 ounces) fat free beef gravy

- Mix together very well. Shape the mix into 5 oval patties about 1/2 inch thick.
- Coat a 12inch skillet in cooking spray and heat over medium to high heat. Add the patties and cook for 2-3 minutes, flip and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until brown.
- Add the remaining 2 cups of mushroom, 2T of ketchip, and gravy. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and let simmer for 5-10 mins, until patties reach desired doneness.
