Dad'S Hummus
- 2 1/2 cans chick peas
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 lemons
- 1/3 cup warm water
- 1/3 cup tahini or sesame paste
- 6-8 cloves of garlic
- salt and pepper (to taste)
- tabasco, onions, and
- tomatoes (optional)
- : garlic salt, olive oil, balsamic
- vinegar, paprika :
- Using a food processor combine the chick peas, tahini, water, olive oil, and the juice of one lemon. Mix well.
- Then add the juice of the other lemon and the 6-8 cloves of garlic into the blend and mix well.
- After mixing, the the hummus out of the processor and put it into a bowl. Add the salt and pita to taste, and (OPTIONAL) add the tabasco sauce, onions, and tomatoes. (OPTIONAL) When serving, sprinkle the garlic salt and paprika onto the hummus. Then put a small pool of olive oil and balsamic vinegar in the center.
