Classic Beef Chili

  1. 1.) cook the ground beef and garc in a nonstick skillet, breaking apart the meat with the spoon, until browner. Drain off any fat. Add the chili powder and cumin and stir to coat the beef.
  2. 2.) mix the tomatoes, beans, onions, chiles, and tomato paste in a slow cooker. Stir in the beef mixture. Cov and cook on high until the flavors are blended, 4-5 hours. Garnish with oregano and serve.
  3. Per serving: 142 cal, 5g fat, 2g sat fat, 35 mg chol, 166 mg sodium, 10 g carb, 4g fiber, 14g protein, 43 mg calc.
